Customer requests /img/sku-1234?w=800&fmt=avif&q=80 → agent fetches source → resizes + reformats + watermarks + caches → returns optimized image. Saves 60-90% bandwidth, kills the pre-rendered-asset matrix, and your designer's time goes to brand work instead.

Per request: serves transformed image variants on-demand from a master file in S3 → caches output for 30 days
2.
Daily 6am: scans CDN logs for top-100 untransformed images → pre-warms the variant cache
3.
On Shopify product create: detects new SKU → emits a manifest of /img/sku-XXXX URLs for product page + Shopify metaobjects
